Nightblooming Panacea, oils and tea
Hi everyone I didn't see a thread for nigthblooming's hair products and I was wondering what do you think about them.
I really like triple moon oil it has some wonderful ingredients and I also use it not only for my hair but whenever I do an oil cleasing method
it's just wonderful God send for that.
Panacea hair salve I tried the regular version and it was kind of heavy for my hair so I'm a little protein sensitive, I can use protein
once in a while but not everyday as a leave in, so I'm waiting for the winter protein free version and see if that one works for me.
She also has some herb/tea rinses and a new minruvor long hair tea.
Does anyone else tried any of her hair products? if so which one is your favorite

I've tried the Panacea hair salve and it was a bit heavy for me to use on dry hair. However, if I used it on damp, freshly washed hair, it was perfect!
After washing I wrapped my hair in a towel to get most of the drippy moisture out, smoothed a bit of the panacea on my palms, then turned my head upside-down and scrunched it on the ends first before smoothing on the length.
But I've never found a method that works on my dry hair. I think my hair is just too thin and fine for dry oiling. It always looks too greasy. The funny thing is, I use about twice the amount of Panacea on wet hair than I would ever use on dry hair and yet it doesn't look greasy at all when it dries.

I LOVE Panacea! I have a 2-oz tub of the summer blend and need to buy one of the bigger jars before she stops making it for the year. I've found the same thing as aMused - it works better for me on damp hair. And the scent -- I seriously want to lick my hands after I use it!
Just got the Miruvor tea, too. I haven't been drinking it long enough to notice a difference in my hair, but it tastes yummy!

Oh, I agree with Aislinn on the scent . . . based on the smell I could eat it with a spoon!

I'll make sure to try it on damp hair the next time, I really don't remember if I used on damp or dry hair.
I tend to overdo oils and stuff on damp hair, I'll be careful with that when I try my next panacea

I just washed out a heavy oiling I did overnight with a mix of panacea and anointing oil - my hair is very happy! I agree that it is too heavy for my hair dry (although I did use it on dry hair last night since I was doing the DT) so I generally use it on damp hair and also usually mix it with 1 drop of camellia oil.
I also tried the mirror tea and found it very tasty but I am mostly drinking rooibos at the moment.
I have the original, summer and winter blends and don't see a huge difference in my hair among them so I mostly use the original because it is my favorite scent (at the moment, LOL)

I've got some of the original and summer panacea coming in the post. Looking forward to trying it, as I've heard such good things about it

I've wanted to try the Panacea for a long time but I'm allergic to lavender. Do you think Nightshade could do a special order or would that be too much of a burden in order to omit one ingredient?

I would certainly ask her. Nightshade has been nothing but sweet to deal with when I've ordered from her.
Of course, if you order one of her special potions, you might have to be careful that one of her hairtoys didn't fall into your cart at checkout.
That's my great danger when I visit her etsy store. She has some adorable, original designs.

It is amazing how those hairtoys jump into the cart. I've noticed that myself.
I think I will ask her. I hear all these raves about the Panacea and I would just love to have something that worked now and into the winter.
Which one? My hair is that fine but lots of it type. I don't want to weigh it down but it does get some static as soon as the weather turns cold. Would the regular one be the place to start?
