Just a heads up: tenderheaded.com are considering closing down their site (they may have already).. however, most of their combs can be purchased from creative combs.
These are my Tibet Road Yak Horn Combs. The bottom is my detangler and the top is my finer tooth smoother. These and my Tangle Teezer are the only things I use on my hair.
My new baby
Sorry, I haven yet taken a picture where I compare it to any other comb I own
Itís the 207 detangler from Hairsense
kittennoodlesoup, is the Hairsense Classic Detangler in the OP the same as the 206 on their website?
Thank you! I really want to get one from Hairsense, but I cannot decide between that one and the 2066.
Mr C's super detangler comb arrived today and WOW is it HYYYUUUUUGE! Oh gosh I knew it was big but I still was shocked to see how big it actually was in my hand. Saying all that, it's the best thing I have used in his hair yet because the giant long prongs on the comb are actually able to penetrate his thick curly hair all the way through the canopy and the underlayer that everything else misses. (I was detangling before doing his henna.)
The handle is gigantic but comfy to hold and it's a really "manly" looking comb in a "That's not a comb, THIS is a comb" kind of way.
I'm hoping to take some pictures soon, but there's been very little sun in the last week and my camera doesn't focus without sun.
One thing though with the hairsense combs is that I was surprised by how "roughly" carved they look. Was anyone else? It doesn't really matter though because they do a great job and I do recommend them, but I just wasn't expecting the bumpiness/chunkiness of the carving.
